Silva brothers had a weekend of victories and podiums at the CCS Florida season opener at Homestead Miami Speedway.
Bruno Silva won GTO in the morning, after a long battle with Stefano Mesa , Sean Dwyer and Frank Babuska. On board oh his ART built Yamaha R1 Bruno also won the Unlimited Superbike with Pirelli Superbike tires SC1 front and SC0 rear. On the Unlimited Grand Prix race Bruno Finished second in one of the best races of the day, Bruno, Mesa, Dwyer and Babuska change position many times during the race.
Fernando Silva had his first weekend racing full time on the 1000cc bike, on board of an ART built Kawasaki ZX-10R He finished 6th on GTO, 5th on Unilimted Superbike and Unlimited Grand Prix, using Pirelli Superbike SC1 front and SC0 rear.
Lucas Silva of 15 years old raced on an ART built Yamaha R6 started the weekend finishing 2nd after starting on the 4th row on the grid he ran to the front and was chasing first place when the race was red flagged. Lucas finished 4th in heavyweight Supersport, 2nd on Middle weight Superbike and 1st on middle weight GP and Heavyweight Superbike. Using Pirelli Superbike tires, SC1 front and SC0 rear Lucas was able to do the fastest lap of the weekend on a 600cc bike at 1:26:090.
